How to Use the BrowserBased Ebook Creator
Ready to create your first ebook? Follow these simple steps:
1. Getting Started with Book Information
Head to the "Book Information" tab.
Fill in the essentials:
Title and Author Name: Give your book a name and add your byline.
Book Description: Write a brief summary to captivate your audience.
Language: Defaults to "enUS" e.g., English/US, but you can adjust it.
Cover Image: Upload a JPG or PNG file best at 1400x2100 pixels for a professional touch—watch the preview appear!
Table of Contents: Check the box to include one great for longer books.
Click "Save Book Information" to lock in your details.
2. Creating and Editing Chapters
Switch to the "Chapter Editor" tab.
In the sidebar, click " Add New Chapter" to start. It’ll autoname your first chapter e.g., "Chapter 1".
Select a chapter to edit:
Chapter Title: Rename it to something specific e.g., "Prologue".
Chapter Content: Type or paste your text. Use basic HTML tags like for bold or for italics if you’re comfortable!
Hit "Save Chapter" when finished, or "Cancel" to discard. Use "Edit" or "Delete" from the sidebar to manage chapters.
3. Organizing Your Book
Your chapters appear in the sidebar. Use the drag handle ≡ to rearrange them feature coming soon—stay tuned!.
Add as many chapters as needed to build your story or guide.
4. Previewing Your Work
Click "Preview Book" in the sidebar to see your ebook in action.
The "Preview" tab shows your title page, TOC if enabled, and chapters. Scroll through to spot any formatting tweaks!
5. Saving Your Project
Click "Save Project" to store your work locally in your browser.
Return anytime with "Load Project" to continue where you left off. Save often to avoid losing progress!
6. Generating Your Ebook
When you’re thrilled with your book, hit "Generate EPUB".
Download your file e.g., "MyBook.epub" and open it on ereaders Kobo, Nook, reading apps, or convert it to Kindle format MOBI/KF8 using free software like Calibre.
Tips for the Best Results
